Earthquake

My first attempt at night photography. As you can tell, this was done without a tripod. I still like the outcome even though it was a disaster.

I was at Niagara falls over the weekend, so more pics at some point in the future...

hahahahahahahha....This is such a photo which I usually take at night!
debola: hehe...a tripod is a must
night time is tough.
No tripod is difficult, you have to rest the camera.
AQlso watch the horizon,.....
this one is leaning a little to the right
Cheers
Rob
debola: I have a version with the horizon straightened, but went with this because it suited the disaster theme and title smile
Thanks for the feedback Rob

Actually, the 'blur and burnt' feel works well for your theme smile. Even with a tripod, its difficult to get it perfect.
debola: thanks for that SAVO...I was wondering what happened to my comment on your page, lol

It looks like a picture taken in wartime or at a period of insurrection.

Take to the hills!!!
debola: That could work with this as well. thanks Chris
The burnt out light behind the building adds to the atmoshere of apocalypse. I was reminded of th CNN news footage from war zones.
debola: glad it has that effect blackdog smile
tripod is really needy in this light
debola: I agree Chantal, I still like how this came out smile
You may think it's a disaster but I think that it has a lot of atmosphere.

It looks like a photojouralist's pic from a war zone with bombs going off and that it had to be taken quickly or the photographer would have been in mortal danger.
debola: Thanks for that. that surely suits this as well smile
